I used to work with Fluff Freeman at Virgin Radio in the 90's. He was a complete sweetie made even better by the fact that he used to call Jadis "Jardis". Like Tardis.

Every time I read about them I can still hear his glorious voice... :D

God Bless Fluff.

My one condition to me helping my dad with his DIY projects on a Saturday afternoon was that I had the radio tuned to Alan Freeman's rock show. I guess if it hadn't been for Fluff introducing me to all this good music I may not be on this forum now. :D

Re the Jadis gig, I will be doing my utmost to attend and have 3 to 4 others very keen on coming along.
I am out of the office. Messages can be left with Mr. C Lyons on 020 7722 3333

Rush was the last gig I saw with Tommy before he left this mortal coil. They started at 7.30pm then had a break. Everyone piled out to the bar, the bell went and an announcement to get back to your seats within 10 mins. We looked at our watches when we did the bidding and sure enough the band struck up at exactly 21.12pm. I don't need to tell you what the song they played now do I. (That's bloody damn fine timing for you!!) That was the last time I saw Tommy.

You've got me very confused now, Twang. Tommy as in Tommy Vance (died 2005), as opposed to Fluff as in Alan Freeman (died 2006)? :?

(Even if I'm missing something, it gives me the opportunity to remind everyone that the first ever edition of Tommy Vance's legendary Friday Rock Show was devoted completely to Yes, live at Wembley, from October 1978. Truly magnificent concert and I was there. My taped version went AWOL years ago, but I now see that it's out there online :D )

Sorry didn't mean to confuse, very random this but it was a conversation I had with Jem. I can't write my experiance with Fluff. Too many children on here. So, in the name of decency you got a Tommy one.

Glad thats sorted out then.
